– Trauma ; Involving dental tissues with lost, loose or broken teeth; bleeding gums, minor cuts and bruising to the lips inside the mouth; loose teeth; broken or sharp teeth; lost fillings; toothache; bleeding or swollen gums; lumps/bumps/ulcers/blisters; Loose or broken crowns/bridges or dentures ; bad taste/bad breath. – Developmental ; children with missing or extra teeth; crooked teeth; requesting braces; broken braces/trauma from braces. – Outside the mouth; Pain around your jaw, ear and temple, joint pain/clicking/restricted opening; swellings affecting mouth, jaws and face.
– Prolonged or excessive bleeding due to large lacerations; swelling causing difficulty with swallowing or breathing; trauma with associated head injury. – Spreading infection or systemic involved of a dental infection. e.g Diffuse or severe facial swelling leading to problems with opening mouth, swallowing, fever, malaise.
Simple Wound Care
What is this service:
Most cuts and grazes can be treated at home and will start to heal in a few days. But some wounds may need to
be treated by a medical professional if there’s a risk of infection, if the injury is serious, or if you have recently
had an operation.
Simple wound care services are available to all patients over the age of 16 who are registered with a GP
practice in Barking & Dagenham, Havering or Redbridge. The services support patients with managing wounds
such as skin ulcers, first degree burns, post-surgical sutures, clips removal and routine dressings.

For the first 6 working days of illness, a Self-certificate is sufficient, which you obtain from your employer or the DSS. Please make an appointment to see the doctor, if you require a private certificate.
Well Person Check
Patients can also book an appointment themselves, for a basic health assessment, by contacting Reception.
Family Planning
We offer a full range of contraceptive services at this Surgery. Please book an appointment, to see the Doctor. Appointments can be booked at reception.
Health Check
Patients aged 40-74 years that are currently not on any medication & who have not attended for 1 year or more, will be invited for a Health check at this Surgery.
Repeat Prescriptions
Please use your computerised slip whenever possible. If you require a repeat prescription, put your request in writing (with name & date of birth) & hand it to the Receptionist or leave it in the box at Reception.
Please be advised that 2 working days notice is required, for the issue of repeat prescriptions.
Your prescription can be posted to you, provided a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed with your request. You can arrange for a Chemist of your choice to collect your repeat prescriptions from the Surgery.
The Surgery does not accept requests for Repeat Prescriptions over the telephone.
